The Brief

This was Gaucho’s first opening in Liverpool, they were looking for a team who would help build the hype and excitement and introduce the brand to the city. Nineteen fitted the bill perfectly

The Solution

To help Gaucho hit the ground running we took their existing reputation as the UK’s best steak restaurant to clearly position the brand to the city. Through generating positive press coverage and building relationships with key stakeholders in the city we were able to build the hype. Two bespoke guest lists were also created to make sure the right people were introduced to the brand.

The Results

Gaucho launched in November 2022 with huge success. As well as offering advice and guidance on the landscape of the city Nineteen delivered;

  • Pre-opening press trip organised and hosted at Gaucho Manchester

  • 3 press releases written and issued to local press – total of 27 press articles written
  • National, local and industry press coverage achieved
  • Lambbanana sourced and Gaucho branded
  • 2 launch nights – guest lists collated and managed – a total of 800 people attending
  • Soft bookings filled with the right people
  • Press interviews with key outlets
  • Press Night hosted with 70 covers
  • Introductions to key people in the city shared with the management team
  • Booking enquiries handed over to the team
  • Local supplier contacts shared with the team

We loved working with team Nineteen to launch Gaucho Liverpool. The opening was a huge success and Nineteen really helped to build a buzz and excitement around the opening. Their knowledge and understanding of the city was extremely valuable and their experience of working in hospitality meant that they were able to work with our internal team with ease. The Nineteen whole team always went the extra mile and even managed to source and brand a Gaucho lamb banana!
